You’ll be amazed by the master skills and speed of Rob Bast. Rob is a full time sculptor from Victoria who works mainly with wood and steel but has also carved ice and stone. Rob has won many awards during his Chainsaw Carving Career in both Canada and Germany where two of the biggest chainsaw carving competitions in the world are held.
Rob was awarded first place with his piece called ‘The Man from Snowy River’ in the Australian Chainsaw Carving Championships held in January 2017. Come down and see Rob’s carving action over the three days at the Show.
Rob will be situated on the southern side of the main arena and sculpting throughout the show.
Dennis Massoud – Master Sculptor in Sand
Sand sculpture is a rare and intricate art form that takes sand and water and breathes it to life with seemingly impossible beauty.
Sand In Your Eyes is the longest running Australian sand sculpting company. It was formed by Master sculptor Dennis Massoud more than 20 years ago. The Sand In Your Eyes team are all master sand sculptors and world champions in their field who have experience in a large number of events held across Australia and overseas.
Dennis once again will be creating his magic over three days of show near the front entrance to the showgrounds.
